The Penguin who could fly

My first ever story

Once upon a time, in the island of Club Penguin, there lived a very lively town of the wondrous flightless birds we call, penguins. Now, these penguins were like none other penguin ever seen. These penguins partied all day and night. They hardly get any sleep. They usually just sit around eating pizza. Not to mention that they talk. Is this sounding  strange enough for you? Well the strangest has yet to come.

Remember when I said that penguins were flightless birds, well, that includes all except one. The closest thing anyone else has even got to flying was by jet packs. But no. This penguin, this very penguin, was the only living penguin born with this wondrous ability. His name was Simon Pry. To others, he was known as the penguin who could fly.

He was identified as a little light blue penguin. He didn’t really have a secret identity. So he was welcome by club penguin residents everywhere. As he was so noble, the only clothing he wore was a friendship bracelet, symbolizing him being a friend to everyone in need. Which brings me to his job. As the only penguin who could fly, Simon soared around the island doing good deeds for people. One day was his biggest challenge yet.

The pizza parlour had a robbery! Two robber penguins ran out of the resturant with sacks bulging with money. Penguins kept yelling “Where is Simon?!” “Why isn’t he here?” The truth was, Simon didnt know what to do. His job never was to hurt anyone before. That’s what villains do. But he couldn’t let the people of Club Penguin down too. What could he do?

Robbers were still causing havoc. It seemed like there was no hope for Club Penguin. Suddenly, up in the sky, a dark shape moved across the sky. It couldn’t be Simon. He was light blue. Unless… IT WAS SIMON WITH A NEW IDENTITY!!! The dark blue shape flew down and punched his way through all the robbers until every single one of the robbers were knocked out.

From this day forward, Simon was the newest dark crusader of Club Penguin. During most of the day, he was just Simon Pry, helper penguin to the public. During the whole night and when he is fighting crime, he has a new secret identity, The Bluebird.
